Put that I before D!
Everyone is so focused on hiring diverse candidates but they don't want to spend time on making the culture an inclusive place.
I feel like it's just about making it a standard practice rather than a pat on the back kind of initiative. It's not integrated into all of our functions and it makes it difficult to fully implement and show people the benefits of it

Love this and totally agree. It needs to be fully visible and integrated to succeed.
Tokenistic efforts can only get one so far. The company has no interest in collecting data, reviewing policies or engaging leaders to think strategically about DEI. I'm left throwing parties and celebrating this and that on special occasions.
Staff don't give two hoots about DEI either.
I'm in a time-wasting role that gives the company great branding without having to do the work.
I am shocked how ignorant people are about DEI at all, particularly people who benefit the most. I wish they were educated so that they actually understood how bad it can feel and learned to be empathetic instead ob being 🍑⛳️
