I would Devote my time to meaningful things from my ocean front property in the Caribbean.
I'd definitely go back to school just to do it. Just to see if having no need for a degree has any effect on how I obtain knowledge through traditional means
I'm hearing that its the skills and not a degree anymore that is needed.
I'd quit my job and volunteer with animals
Yay! Would do the same too!
Let go of current daily obligations and just trade them for managing that amount of money, even with professional help it would be work daily; then fend off friends and relatives I haven't heard from in years; then change all my contact info…. Ok so serious…
Besides that; help out family/close friends by setting up a trust fund where they get money annually, and then try to enjoy Bora Bora or somewhere equally off-track for a bit while I reset.
It’s a BIG pot remember
I would quit my current job and move somewhere quiet. Then I would travel to a new country every other month until there's no place left for me to explore.
Oh, I love to travel. That's one thing I would do with it as well. To explore the whole world would be lovely, so many beautiful places to see.
I literally wouldn’t even show up to the office ever again. I would disappear like a fart in the wind and see how long it took for them to figure out I’m never coming back.
No to the second question. Lol
I would have to agree as well. I would not be working. Find me selling my house and buying a house in the Caribbean
I probably would continue to work, but not in what I'm doing now. I'd play around with a few things I've always been interested in to see if I like them and maybe find a career that was more fulfilling, since I wouldn't need to worry about the $$.
That's a cool idea for trying out new careers. never thought of doing that, especially like you said not worrying about the money. You can go job-hopping!
I'd keep busy, that's for sure. But volunteering I think would take the majority of my time. In addition to that, I'd organize funds and donate a lot.
That's amazing to give back
Go to a desert and make my own Vegas
I would pay off my parents cancer bills and mortgage. Afford a much better doctor and renovate the house while sending my parents wherever they wanted until renovations are done. Make sure they have a full life while living the life I want and eventually propose to my gf. Then pay off the debt my friends got due to their undergrad. I’d still work and use the guise of a family member who passed left a large inheritance and just pretend I’m not super wealthy so I can come off as the regular person I am
So many things one of them…Quitting my Job and not having a “Boss” other than my wife 😒
That is funny, lol!
I wouldn’t quit, I’d just stop showing up and see how long it takes the knuckleheads to notice I disappeared.
Wonder how long it would take...minutes, days, weeks??
I would change my phone number for sure
Fairly young but probably retire my parents and then find a way to tie it up in a trust for more than a few years so it couldn’t all be blown on immediately ruining my health and life
I'd pay off my home completely, turn over the vast majority to my investment manager to set me up for retirement and make it grow. If I got a very large amount, several million or even a billion, I'd also offer to pay off my closest friend's homes/school loans. Then give some to charity. Continue working as normal for the next 10-15ish years beefing up my 401k and keeping my mind stimulated and still retire early in my 30s - 40s.
I am not going to lie, I would quit my job. I would def buy a house and get out of this apartment I am in. I would also pay off my student loans. Then....I would probably take a much needed vacation. I need a two week trip to Greece.
I would pay off my mortgage and my credit card, figure out investments, schedule all the remodel projects I would love to do, figure out a way to convert my electric stove to gas, plan some travel, then figure out a way to offer affordable housing to our growing homeless population. Many are in that situation because housing prices doubled in the last few years. And yes, I would quit my job
I'd pay off all my mom's and my own dues, start my own business, invest in stocks, and just live the life I've always dreamt of.
Do u have any idea what business you would start?
In all honesty, I would quit my job and start focusing on my dream businesses.
what are your dream businesses?
