How much do all of you put aside each year ? I am surprised by the amount of money people save… just curious to know if you are all already home owners or renters, kids or no kids and in which city.
I am in TO, renter and 44 and I am so far from having that money aside.
I target between 35-40K for my household per year. And then good bonus year I try to put most of it away too. Homeowner but got a mortgage based on only my salary and not my spouses so we aren't stretched and house poor. It's small but doable for us and our one toddler.
30K... mid-30s.
