If you’re making good money what’s the point? Our society has already shown that getting more education doesn’t necessarily mean making more money.
Are you enjoying your current role/team enough currently? If so, and happy with comp (which appears strong), why bother?
Please explain your thought process regarding “screwing yourself” when you’re 27 and on track to make $600K next year.
I’ll have only made max 125k until now. Next year has the potential to be a life changing earning year which is the first time where it’s feeling like maybe it’s not so bad where I am.
“Screwed myself” in the sense I went to a smaller shop too fast in my career that has less brand, training, and a network. Might not be able to ever work for a name brand place if the adage is true that “it’s always easier to move down to a smaller place than up to a bigger place”.
