I’m a 32 year old woman, last 4 years I spent in deep depression not meeting people and I wasted my time I feel like. I just started a new job at a new company and applied for masters. I’m trying to turn my life around, do you think I have a chance at my age to make friends and find love life long potential partner? As the holidays come around, I hate them because it reminds me of how alone I am with no friends or family and I keep thinking is this my life going to be until I die—alone?

I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

My mother-in-law says he’s worked on things, but it’s been 10 years of this and I’m not sure I want such behavior around my wife and our kids since we’re trying to conceive soon (cont).

Brought my gf sushi take out to her house when she got off of work. She didn't like the meal I got her and started to eat the roll i got for myself. I just had to send my husband away in an ambulance. I’m not allowed to go with him or even go to the hospital. I don’t know what to do. I can’t even be there for my husband.

I’m currently an associate (no kids) in a very busy corp group (think 50-60 billable weekly). My wife works significantly less (currently part time, 10-15, but hopefully will be full time soon). How do I figure out spending with my SO? Initially I was paying for 90% of stuff (no actual bills, just going out). I talked to her and said we need to be more even. She was never proactive.
