I'm a woman (28 yo) and I'm interviewing for a promotion at my company. I think I have a really good chance and my stats speak for themselves. However, many of my coworkers are older men who may not like someone younger being their boss. I fully anticipate this to not only be an interview question, but a legitimate concern if I get the job. Stressing over what to say to inspire confidence that I'm not too young and it won't be a problem.

How does one go about resignation in the remote setting?

Should i email my boss then follow up with a call? Or the other way around?

The "confrontation" is really difficult for me lol. I actually like my current boss and she's been helpful and made me feel like she looks out for me too. But the new opportunity is too good to pass up on (huge increase to pay. No concerns on the team since ive worked with those people in the past in a different company)

I’ve been asked by a client to coach their team on how to structure and write scripts for their corporate event content (e.g. panel discussions). I’ve happily had a crack at helping them but it’s a bit out of my wheelhouse - is this ask something that would ordinarily be given to an agency copywriter? There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.

What holiday party did you get?
Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.
