You might get 3% raises and no bonus though
Grass is always greener
I went from 68 to 97
I'm not even sure if there's grass on this side.
Manager 1 why did you stay for so long with opportunities like the ones above?
Depends.. an associate just left my firm and got a job at a NFP organization with a $95k salary. It’s possible.. just depends on your credentials and where you want to go.
It's possible. I've seen associates leave for anywhere between $75-90k salaries.
I became specialized where I got to shape my responsibilities in PA. Didn’t want to move to internal audit. Not many companies have a strong risk department. Also, you have much less variety in industry - same tasks, same team. If you don’t like it, you’re stuck with it unless you change jobs again Seems too risky
I just left EY as a staff 2 and I got about 20% when you factor in benefits and all that. The salary bump wasn’t huge, but benefits and bonus were enough to make a jump with a smaller salary increase. In my experience, leaving at that level isn’t going to get a huge increase. I had a few offers and they are all around what I am at now, but I went where they offered the best bonus and other benefits
