They’ve sent us swirling for about a year now and are creatively paralyzed - not able to make decisions and make something. Likely no new business opportunities until the new year. Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

I put a lot of efforts making friends and always try to be with my friends whenever they need. But, I didn’t always get invited to the party while guys they complained a lot and they hate…those guys are often invited. Maybe attraction is a part of problem in making friendship? Because the guy I hang out have big preference with certain race and he wants to be friend with them more than me. And it seems to insult me sometimes…but let’s be positive… maybe culture, language and other? I’m sad tho.

Hello, I have a question that needs your inputs how to handle. I am working with a post-MBA Associate on a project and this person seems to do extra work beyond what the team is asking the rest of us to do. I think during our conversations with the leadership, there were a couple of points that were brought up by the MD but that was not a concrete directive that we need to do because if it is, I would know about it from the chain email since I am staffed to the project.

I’m working at a small firm that is more like a one-stop shop. We’ve had instances where a client of ours have asked for a deliverable that is outside of our expertise and that we need specialists for. However, the relationship partner (is that what they’re called) for some reason wants everything to go through them rather than having the specialists directly engage with the client. Is there some legal/ethical reason for this? Or is this just an act to protect their turf?

Choosing between two offers right now and not sure what to do. Both places have solid reputations, option A’s maybe slightly better. I like the location of option A more and think it would open up more doors long term. Option B is also a good opportunity and maybe would be more satisfying short term. Option B offered more $ but hoping to leverage that to see if option A can match. Are there any other big things to think about that I’m missing?
