Think they did a good job on this piece. It was a truly embarrassing moment for the firm, but I think it’s being handled as well as can be expected. Should go smoothly this year 🤞

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Yes, there is wide range of jobs/Career fields that you could go into depending on your abilities/ passions etc. It is definitely better to select a field you are interested in and that is in demand, than to go into something that pays well but you dislike! Take me for example, I did an MBA at University of Phoenix with an emphasis on Marketing , and I wished I had a Masters in Public Health! I would visit with a good academic advisor and other professionals in the field you are interested in!
It depends on your earnings expectations.
Humanities degree from average state school = $50K is probably too much
CS degree from MIT = you’re going to be easily making $150-200K just a year or two out, you could go more in debt if needed
I'd say $50k is manageable. I graduated from law school with about $100k, making $75k to start and I find it manageable, but my interest rate on about half of that is 0%. Monthly payments total $750 right now. Hope this helps!
