Is the AWS CSA-A cert useless these days? I know at least 5 sales execs (non-technical of course) that got it this year and they’re not even in tech industry.

Does anyone feel that the Oil and Gas industry is the most discriminatory industry of all? They won’t even look at resume without O&G experience! It does not make sense to me as I would rather teach someone the specifics of an industry if they were a good fit. And for an industry that has so many obstacles from Government, Environmental Organizations and so on, why they are adding more bad publicity to themselves is not a great approach.

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. Is the way to train managers changing? I’m familiar with a cohort model where a group of new managers meet in person, and then go through some classes together over a period of 2-6 months. Is there a better or new model that people are using?
