Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Can someone in the EY-Parthenon Singapore office tell me more about the difference between the role of a senior associate doing valuation in the strategy and transactions team and the generic strategy team? Saw 2 job postings with one specific for valuation, modeling and economics, and another for just the generic strategy team. Would really appreciate if I can reach out to someone to have a chat about this. Thanks much!

i would say Director of Marketing
1) more universal than “head” which mean different things
2) leaves room for Snr Director, VP, etc. harder to do that with Head
3) It’s semantics, but Director of vs Director implies more oversight and less of an IC role

Does your role lean to marketing strategy or more marketing account mgt? Digital only or multi disciplinary?
It lean to marketing strategy. The company is not that big, so I’m also very hands on. I have two people that report to me. And the three of us are the only ones working with marketing.
I spend a lot of my time on digital marketing, but I’m also responsible for our print material and everything used at conferences.
Head of marketing to me sounds more senior. There are a million directors in advertising
Director. Most companies have directors. Few have heads.
