I’m hoping to find a job that is remote. However, I am currently interviewing with a company that would pay double what I make now and things are going really well. But they want me in office. If I wasn’t struggling to make ends meet, I’d hold off until I found a remote job that pays better. What would you do?

I would take the job and plan to stay there 2 years. Save up money and then start interviewing for a remote job.

I would take the job, use the extra money to pay for childcare when needed and almost immediately hunt for another job which has similar/more pay but WFH. Usually more salary means more responsibilities which then means you’ll be more qualified for better jobs later on.

That way, you get the money you need to survive but still keep your options open

like

I would look for a remote, unless money is really good and commute isn’t bad (and negotiate remote after 5pm or in emergencies). You can always make more money, but having them little goes by super quick and being there is priceless. But that’s just my opinion!

like

What are your reasons to WFH? Are they more important than the extra money?

I tend to just like the way a man smells (not body odor but just natural scent) and don’t usually like it covered up, but wow this guy tonight 🥵 I might might buy some but i figured it would be gay to ask him “what are you wearing” because that prob isn’t something the bros at the gym do.
