I had HR round today for TCS, Everything was ok until HR offer salary, offering 11.5 for 4 yoe in automation testing, Current package is 7.65. I have said ok and she said i will receive offer letter in 7-10 days but i am not convinced with that offer.
I am thinking to reject that as it is very low and i can't put papers based on that low of a package.

I interviewed with Amazon for SDE 1 role on 31 November 2021. Out of 4 rounds held on the same day, 2 went really good and other two were just alright. As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

We have sales people in Canada and the US, the Canadians make 150K CAD and down here it’s 150K USD, the Canadians argue they should be making 30% more than the US colleagues to be equal bc of the exchange! I explain the salary is dependent on the market data for them in Canada, WHERE THEY LIVE, and you can’t compare it to the US employees and the market data down here. Overall they are both in the 75th% for total comp. for their industry. Am I wrong?

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I am now actively looking but how do I explain to other employers why I am actively looking and what do I put on my resume? I have never had to deal with this before.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?
