I'm in temp2perm contract as an EA to a CPO for a client with Apple One, perm happens 1/27/26. The hiring manager wouldn't budge on my salary/went 5K under says "when you go perm, we'll talk about higher 5K$$$". I took the job as I needed it. Now a recruiter reaching out for a construction co. EA to CEO hiring direct asap & 10-12K higher than my original $$$ ask. Interview next Weds My background is Construction/Electrical. Why does my anxiety start up thinking about the possible change?

I am stupidly rejecting recruiters with legit offers because I am waiting for The One. The offer to end all offers. But they are taking entirely too long to notify me. They keep telling me to hold on.

People always compliment how soft my skin is, I honestly think it’s because I don’t shower daily so I never have to use lotion and my skin has a natural oil balance. How many hours a week are you working? I’m generally clocking about 50-60 and I’m exhausted. I’m busy, but it’s mostly because no one I work with has any boundaries.

Does anyone have a preferred car service company? I am looking for a service that can consistently provide traveler alerts such as when car has arrived, passenger is on board, trip competed, etc. across US cities. I have found a company that will do this when I book travel in NYC, but when my Professionals arrive in their destination cities the affiliates do not offer this same feature. Any suggestions? Any ideas on planning a quarterly retreat for a startup? Specifically for strategy day and culture. Never planned a quarterly retreat before and is not to sure what it entails. I’ve been told agendas for retreats are very subjective to company but would like some general ideas if anyone has any!

Received an offer for an internal promotion and the verbal offer differed from the written offer. Specifically, the bonus verbalized was 2% higher than the offer letter. HR basically just said ‘sorry, our mistake the letter is right’. What would you do?

If stayed at the company but accepted an offer for a job outside of the department I was in. I’ve now been asked by a manager from my old department to apply for a job they’re opening that would be a 2 step promotion. She thought she got my managers permission to approach me (see comments)
