Hi fishies! Are there any recruiters from Facebook (Meta) who would be kind enough to review my resume and give me some feedback? From my perspective I’m a candidate for some of the roles I’ve recently applied for and also have experience as a contingent worker there and would like some honest feedback so I can reassess and reapply. Thanks so much in advance!

Remote is not lower pay - it is the cost of labor in that location. I have a colleague who just converted to perm remote who got a pay increase (as the location moved to has a highest cost of labor… note: different to cost of living)
Interesting! I’ll definitely look into this some more

Define skills? Id say that salary at 3 YoE with no hard skills is fair, but without knowing your background totally I’m not sure. Anywhere between 120-150 TC would be my target.
Thanks for the insight!
I’m remote in dc (I started prepandemic and recently switched to full remote). Salary is higher in dc. It’s on par with Menlo Park.
Nice, this is super helpful 👍
The recruiter on the first call should be asking about salary. Give them a number you're looking for.
What you are seeing is just base pay - meta gives stock which is where majority of pay lies. They do not have to disclose stock and only base pay under Colorado law.
Definitely seems low. Maybe pitch your pay range based on your location and they can be flexible?
I interviewed for a technical Sourcer role there and the base was 98K - Total Comp 111K. That was based off area, no negotiation.
Super helpful! Thanks
I think there’s a specific law for Colorado so most companies specify base salary/range for there. Final offer depends on your location.
I would target 130k - 150k, with 3 YOE.
Ask for 160k
I would think somewhere right around a base of $100k plus a target bonus around $15-20k is what you should expect.
Technical analyst is also very vague, in NC that sound like an technical engineer position at at 3 years exp you are looking 50-60k remote
