I’m interviewing for a very senior accounting role at a technology company and I have a pre‑planned 12‑day family trip this summer. I’m unsure when to disclose it during the interview/offer process: Part of me feels that if I mention it too early, they might choose another candidate; but if I wait until after an offer is extended, I don’t want it to seem deceptive. I’ve never been in this situation before and would appreciate any advice on the best timing and approach.

@Capco what’s the comms/content space like? I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews re: consultancy jobs, but that’s not my focus. I ask as I’m looking into a potential position at Capco, but concerned I could be leaving a more “secure” company (BofA) for a raise at another org. that has a lot of room for improvement.
