I'm not a manager yet, but I want to be one. I've been reading some leadership focused books, like "Extreme Ownership" and "Start With Why". I've also got "Managing Generation Z" and "101 Tough Conversations to have with employees" that I haven't gotten to yet. Do you ladies have other suggestions?

I currently work from one seasonal contract to the next with the same employer, and during this past summer we had a lot of problems. The root of most of them was the lack of experienced seasonal leadership. I was venting to my mom one day and she basically said that it was time to either learn how to become part of the solution, or to accept everything as it is and stop complaining so much lol.

My business book and leadership book that I always suggest is called career warfare by Del asandro I believe. It goes through different phases of your career and you will need every one of those to come out on top. I highly recommend it.

The role is in FinTech

Anyone out there in a role like this? Any books. videos or even best practices to share?
