I’m on at team of ICs and everyone is in a Director level payband besides me. How do I convince my supervisor to make the case for my promotion? Everyone on the team has been hired in at director level and I’ve been promoted and transferred internally. So my shiny new car smell has worn off.

Got an offer from a big bank’s operation department (fund reporting analyst), currently at EY faas and I’m not happy here, should I stick it out here until I get promotion or jump now? The salary offered is about the same I get now ( a few K higher). but I’m worried about flexibility (not as many vacations, promotions) if I jump to industry :(

Every employees at TD just got a 3% off cycle raise to combat inflation. Comes into effect July 1st.

Have other companies done similar? Obviously doesn't fully offset inflation but I'm glad to see the bank addressing the issue.

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any

When’s the best time to go client side? Wait till I get a promotion or try to switch sooner rather than later?

I am a ft interior designer, full time mom that also does part time photography on the side. I currently make 90K as a designer and bring in around 20K as a photographer/yr. My design job allows for me to work 100% remotely which helps with daycare pick up and drop off. Recently, the CEO and my boss, the VP gave me the latitude to promote myself and "write my own" job description. I've been the Marketing Manager of this company for about 7 months. Already received 1 raise.
