Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.
YOE: 7 with M.S. and MBA

Ask.
Always ask.
Is asking for a small 5k-10k bump possible?
Rising Star
That amount is pretty common for where you are at in your career. But just ground that with the current state of things.
It also helps to prepare your rationale for the bump with example based proof points.
See if you can get a small bump – otherwise wait another year and show them all the work you’ve done since being promoted up!
Never tell them your salary. Ever. None of their business. Just ask how much the job pays and negotiate from there.
Definitely ask! A slight bump isn’t asking much
Slights probably the wrong word. Since you’re a junior making mid level now, then your mid level pay would be somewhere between the next title up and senior. Slight would be 10-15K assuming that a regular shift up in title would get you a 20-30K increase
Curious to what you’re paid as a mid. I’m in that blurry level as well.
