MM shop, inv team role, I did a final round last week (my XXth IV so far) with one of the GPs. I honestly thought it went great. Haven’t heard a thing since though. Recruiter thinks I’m still in it cause of Christmas-Hol.

What do we think: Am I still in it or not a chance?

Just got turned down for a job I really wanted. No interview. I even had a referral, but they didn't even look at my book! Feeling empty and worthless right now. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now.
