I’m usually very good at interviewing, however the last few have been brutal. I’ve struggled with communicating how I approach top line revenue growth expansion through acq. (tend to get too granular or not granular enough), assessing targets, & the overall transaction process. In some interviews, I was asked about my technical abilities, while in others, it focused on strategy. It feels like I cannot prepare enough. Could be nerves.. How can I remain concise while responding organically?

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
