I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. Sign on bonus: 10k

Current base: 115k
Current bonus target: 15%

First time in negotiation but offer is for $25k more, $90k-> $115k. Guaranteed 25% bonus. They seem hard to budge but is that worth a jump? I know it’s about an extra $1300/month for base
