Is anybody getting calls here? I have been unemployed since September and didn't look for a job for 2 months after that because of surgery. Started searching but most of the job openings require minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant workex which I don't have and entry level jobs have too many applicants. On top of this job postings have been very few compared to December and November.

Currently an associate at a mid-sized firm with “strong potential” to make partner at the end of this year. Things have been toxic for a while, but have cratered in 2021, with few signs there will be any positive changes on the horizon. What are the pros and cons of staying to make partner before trying to go in-house? I’d assumed it would be better to job search with that title on the resume, but am rethinking my assumptions the worse things get.

Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking
