Is anyone else rethinking this career after becoming a parent? Trying to reconcile the travel, late nights, and constant pressure with, well... wanting to see my kid. I’ve been offered a reporting consultant job for less than 60k and I bring 9+ years of experience to the role. They should be offering more. I don’t want to settle but I don’t want to miss an opportunity to move. Reporting consultants should start at $65k per recruiting sites. Any advice? How can I get HR/recruiters to offer more? TIA

PWC recruiter contacted me for a SA role in their Process Assurance practice in Austin. How much does it pay? And how is the work compared to external Audit?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive.
