Plot twist: Ivanka is Putin's daughter
Who here have abs 😬
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

I’m a tax manager at PM. 401K match is 3%, might even be 4% not entirely sure. There is no pension (only hourly staff/admins get a pension), the only hourly staff that I know that get a pension are client accounting services (CAS). PTO is unlimited. Health insurance is not bad, could be better, I personally have an HSA. WLB is great for the most part, all depends what your focus area is and what types of clients you work on. DM me and I can answer any specific questions related to the corporate tax group. I will say the structure at PM is not set up like it is in Big4. Like there isn’t a specific corporate tax group, i mean tax is split between general tax compliance (corporate work, flow through etc) but you’re not designated in a specific subset of tax compliance, there’s also ITS, SALT, SALT compliance, NTO, TSG, Cost Seg etc. I personally focus in M&D and also service along with wealth management, split is about 50/40/10. I also work on super complex 1040s, work on all return types and also work in ITS/SALT. One last thing that I’ll say is that we don’t operate as a cost center, we operate as one firm firm which is really important in the sense that you have resources available at your disposal from the entire firm. Like I mentioned, DM me for any specific questions that you may have.
