Is BCG still giving out interviews this cycle? What dates are everyone’s 1st rounds coming up?

Actively applying now to TAS/FDD senior roles and want to put myself in the best position possible to get an offer. Any advice on how to best prepare for interviews? Reviewed a few case studies and have taken financial modeling courses but am looking to see if anyone can point me to any resources outside of that.

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? I want the title and the money owed which may be about $15000- 20000.

What’s the bar of passing the first round at McKinsey like? if I didn’t do well in the same part of a cases for both interviews (ie reading graphs for high level insights and implications) would that be even worse than having different performance across other areas (ie not doing well in A on case 1 but not doing well in B on case 2)? I thought the quant was fine but i dont think i did well on graph reading for either cases. Pei was also fine and so was the rest of the case

Moving from T2 to McKinsey. How do vacation requests work? Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well
