Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.

The environmental regulatory job postings I’ve seen require at least a few years of regulatory work. I am not sure how to make that transition. Any thoughts?

Does anyone on here recommend making a switch from law to policy work? Is that looked down upon in the legal field or is there some rewarding features of utilizing one’s JD in the policy space?
