Any gym is worth exactly how much you put yourself into it
I explored all the gym options and my thoughts are no for most people. If you take classes or enjoy those “at-home” class workouts that you can follow, I do think it’s worth it. All else, no.
I have an equinox across the street from my apartment (which my roommate belongs to) and whenever we go the space is small and the weights/machines are packed. I coincidentally pay half the price for a crunch membership and find that it’s much less crowded with identical gym equipment. I do sacrifice a steam room and sauna though.
I’m a member and Absolutely no. My company pays for it, but honestly thinking of asking them to donate the money and signing up for planet fitness. This is coming from someone who works out 6 days a week

If you take classes, yes. Otherwise no
If you are Pwc, equinox is on gympass. Much better deal
The classes are definitely worth it
For SF, in person classes (including spinning) used to be nice. But they were trying to enroll more members before covid so they were crowded and quality/maintenance went down. I quit because cost for quality decreased while monthly fee went up over the 10 yrs i was with them.
Yes, for the classes, and sauna
