Hi All,
My LWD in Cognizant was on 21st Oct , I had returned the laptop on that day. But IT approval has not happened yet, and they are saying it will take 3 weeks to get approved, without this approval i can't download any of the documents after exit ... Has anyone faced this issue recently. Is there a way to escalate this?

Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

Word on the street says don’t join Guidehouse
At Guidehouse and very happy. C1 coming in hot with the “headlines only” perspective 🙄. Feel free to dm me.

Stay away and do yourself a favor unless you’re unemployed

Public sector for the most part, is nothing but staff aug. You will be working on never ending projects where you’re gonna learn nothing, limited career growth unless you’re close to a partner and you’ll see a bunch of people who use to be your coworker leave one after one (high turnover) let alone, dealing with some angry / nasty fed clients. Also, benefits are really bad (the worst is the health insurance, if you have a family please run). The best part for now is the maternity leave, but won’t be surprised if veritas take this away (GH is a PE owned company as oppose to other consulting companies). That’s Guidehouse.
They're still hiring.
Most of the people on commercial side (ie legacy Navigant) seem to have been there 3+ years. Seems pretty organized and like they are getting a lot of work and hitting business targets now so 🤷🏼♀️

That was post-guidehouse. Not sure this will remain the case with the acquisition as Veritas is pushing for more benefits cuts and probably, lay-offs down the road
