Is Information Security Pre-Assessment Coordinator a good job role? Should I leave being a risk assessor in grc to that job ?

I’ve been seeing a lot of product roles lately and I’m just wondering if this was a good path to pursue (In terms of career growth, salary, etc.) I’ve working as a data analyst and am thinking of trying something else but I’m not sure what types of roles are really out there.

I work as an Equity analyst on the buy side. I am thinking of exploring the PE world post my exposure to listed equities. How easy or difficult would it be to get into the investment team in a PE.

I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? Does anyone have any helpful tips for brain fog? I’ve been working in full time in special education for several years while finishing my bachelors degree in psychology with a concentration in behavior. Originally, I was going to get my certification/license in sped, but now with the this brain fog I’m nervous about pursuing this.. any suggestions or tips?

I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.

Anyone go from SaaS / licensing sales to services (strategy & implementation) sales?

I'm thinking of moving from large cap tech to large cap consultancy firm to help build the resume and round out my experience. I enjoy and do well in licensing, but I'm fairly young in my career (<6 years) and received a great offer to make the move.
