Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

One of my favorite podcasts did an episode on Adderall. Most of the info won’t be new, but there were some interesting snippets in there. I also thought it was a useful educational resource to share with your family and friends.

Thanks for the industry update, associate.
I’m just here so I won’t get fined

Interesting to see an associate flash this hot update... 🤔
Cold hard fact: Strategy is doing just fine, and in many instances we are printing more money 💰 💰 💰
So consultants are busy working on issues that affect literally every industry and company, large and small? That's literally the job: seeing businesses thru their hardest problems
Is “hot take” just code for “self-important unsolicited input”?
Yes. Lol

OP, The people with time to update LinkedIn are the ones who aren't working. The very people you shouldn't be listening to.
My Team has over 500 people, 3 SMs, 5 M and no one else on the bench. Totally tapped out.
None are on a Call Cemt project, and the Corona projects are building models for tracing.
You are getting grief because you are using trivial anecdotes and making unfounded assumptions.
The longer you stay in consulting, the more you are missing out on a salary bump and precious RSUs. Finally making your first 500k/ye as a partner when your 42 yrs old vs making 130k in industry starting at 25 yrs old (post consulting, highly realistic in HCOL cities) + RSUs built up over 15+ years...you do the math.
There are over 3m startup employees in the US- yes some get lucky and perfectly time the wave, but there is a reason equity is your risk premium, not your salary.
Truly a hot and controversial take indeed.
