Any suggestions for a formula to calculate a running count of the number of incidences in a list? Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? I should start a 529 account for my child but I am originally from France which also makes her a French citizen and she could easily go to college in France for not much money. Currently at Big 4. Have offers for a PL/Principal at MBB and for a VP role at a Fortune 20 company. The VP role is more interesting and comp a bit better but I’m told would accelerate faster at MBB. The initial plan was to end up at MBB. What’s the best for future flexibility?

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
