Layoff in IQVIA?
@iqvia
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

You should’ve received some sort of feedback along the way and an attempt to course correct. I know at my firm you’ll get put on a performance improvement plan. I think firms do that to protect themselves when they do let you go and they can cover their own ass. Try to solicit some feedback and inquire if there’s anything you can do to improve. Good luck!
No, you will get some indication from your RP.
Technically speaking your mid year and end year should be an indication of your performance
Also having periodic check-ins with your team lead
If things aren’t up to par and you are on the bench then it might be a surprise but you shouldn’t be surprised
Hope that makes sense
Boy do you sound naïve. Do you really think your RP and the other partners care if you’re not making the money. If they can’t see a way to Bill you out ....your toast. Grow up
^not even gonna begin to explain all the things wrong with this post lol.
..doing a good job but I never know for sure.
Thanks for the replies. We have yearly performance reviews and everything I've heard has been positive, especially at this project though I just can't get the sense of whether my manager is impressed/satisfied with my work or not.
Ask him ^. Enough said
You sound new
Everything will always depend whether it be project/management/work etc.
It’s about adjusting to the situation; or at least adjusting the best you can
Rare that you wouldn’t see it coming. And if you don’t see it coming, you probably should have.
I was fired last year and didn't see it coming. Still not sure what happened exactly. Reviews were all positive. Can only think of one project that didn't do too hot on (though I improved a lot over time during it) If ur CC isn't direct with you, I think it could be possible to not c coming. But ur probz fine, think my case is exception, not the rule
