I’ve been trying to get into the top tier Associate Product Marketing Manager position Google for some time now for just an interview and I feel like business majors somehow have such a stronger chance in getting interviewed especially my business school and I feel really discouraged as an Econ Major and I have a lot of marketing experience that I’ve built over the years. Are there any non-business majors in the tech realm in non technical positions at Google that can advise me?

I don’t feel like I’ve changed much politically, but I do feel like the rug has been pulled out from me by both parties to the point I second guess myself.
I do however say that if you’ve never changed your mind on an issue in the past year, you’re doing something wrong. I think it’s important to continually challenge your beliefs and consider new information. If you’re entirely static, you are doing neither.
I voted for Bernie in the 2016 primary, Hillary in the general, Biden in the 2020 general, and will vote Republican in the 2024 general.
I’ve shifted a bit right, but the Dems have moved far left in the past few years.
Once you start paying with your wallet it’s likely your mind will change. 😎
It's not rare?
It is really hard to say on these issues as some values and worldview drift is completely expected. It's quite plausible that your high school self had very stupid views, and as you mature you realize the flaws of those specific views.
But to be honest, a lot of US politics boil down to mood and affiliation. It can be helpful to audit why you're changing, whether you had to change the ways you have, and whether you think your ideas are well-founded.
I was very conservative (grew up in a red county in California) as a young adult but I am definitely way more liberal now (I'm 36). I will never be AOC liberal but I'll remain liberal nonetheless.

Sure, if you consider Romney a conservative. I guess he’s more than Bernie so you’re right.
Excactly VP1. Both sides spend money like a cancer patient in a whore house. The idea to cut spending is never considered, just keep racking up debt and BRRRRing our way out of it.
I consider Romney conservative a RINO though.

I was always a hopeful democrat in high school and center left in undergrad, I think I’m still in the center just a little further away now.
Still, I’m socially liberal, fiscally conservative (think pro choice, background check on guns, open borders, pro immigration but less tax)
Conservative in what respect? You cant possibly be conservative overall in all topics. You needa form your own opinion about the topic right?
When it comes to taxation I'm leaning liberal. When it comes to crime I lean conservative. In what topics do you find yourself taking a conservative stance?
Lol asians aint as privileged as white folks but also dont get to have minority protection because they're "model". Lmao way to be the middle child 🤣
