Is it just me or are consulting salaries in London significantly lower than in the US? I’m browsing around glassdoor and the highest analyst salary is at 40k averaging at 32k.

it feels like every survey about working from home is (poorly) designed to answer the useless question "would you rather work from home or from the office." Employer is trying to force me (disabled using a walker and immunocompromised) to return to work at the office after WFH efficiently (covering 2 roles!) For 2 years. I actually can't even do my job from the office. Office isn't ADA compliant and my walker doesn't fit. Some employees aren't vaxxed and mask mandates are being removed. Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee.
