Is it just me or Asian managers/senior managers are always harder to work with? Esp if they are female. Always give very STRICT deadlines and ridiculously high requirements and expectations.

I work part time for a startup for equity and am attending an event on behalf of the startup. I’ve only been here a few months and asked multiple times to have a prep meeting with my boss. How do I leave my role as someone on the talent team. I am on a small recruitment team of only a few people, who connect daily.
