Is it normal for your manager to yell at you in front of a bunch of people in Big 4 or MBB?

Has anyone ever dealt with a flirty client? Pretty sure he's made a pass at me a couple of times but I can't quiet tell cause he seems to be a flirtatious person in general. Just don't want to jump the gun but also don't want him to think I'm okay with it.

Lesson learnt:

Never tell your colleagues where you are joining beforehand.
Not all are good advisors, some will ruin your mind with their opinions.

Two years out of college do you still leave clubs and older internships ( maybe your junior summer) If they are relevant and show leadership depth

Hi community, humbly seeking professional HR advice. I recently joined my company’s HR team. In an informal conversation, a senior HRBP, considered a peer, called 2 of our fellow HR colleagues “worthless.” I should have rebuked her then & there but was so caught off guard. My company issues top of the line 16” MBP’s for engineers and lower end 13” MBP’s for all others. How concerned are you about inflation? We have 70% savings rate and 50% of our expenses are housing / utilities of which the largest part is rent which is a fixed contract (no CPI escalation, no automatic increases, paying same rent for 4 years). No car as we are living in a large city. So if I look at the components of CPI and what’s rising I am feeling pretty „good“ about it. The one thing I am „worried“ is asset inflation but obviously that benefits me directly. What am I missing?

If you work for a large strategy firm and a client approves a much larger budget than you think was needed for the project is it okay to just accept the overage ? How does one go about a resignation mid-leave when you would start the new job before the leave ends? Two weeks notice or just say I am not returning effective the day of the new job?
