Is it rare for someone from MBB to move to big four?

When applying to MBB are you only allowed to target 1 specific office? Or if interested in tri-state could I have NYC and then NJ and CT as backup?

Is the BCG Knowledge team equivalent to Offshore consulting / GBS teams or is it a back-end Knowledge team. Employees seem to suggest that they do consulting work as well. This team has sectoral specializations unlike the flagship model. Unbiased insights? I am currently in Big4 consulting and want to break into MBB. I also know switching tracks does not happen since I had an offer from McK Implementation and turned it down after speaking with many employees there. Also, the track is super slow.
