Sometimes, but I usually end up sleeping in a bit (my usual commuting time) so that gives me some extra energy to get through the day!
No but I take a booty call break.
Duty call or booty call..that is the question .
I often fit in a power nap in the early afternoon. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to feel powerful, sometimes 2 hours
*sometimes wakes up at 10pm feeling awful*
Yesterday I fell asleep from 3:30 to 5:30 because my dog was soooo comfy and wanted snuggles. Oops.
I sometimes workout midday, but no I don’t take naps, I’d be out for like 2 hours
Same! Workout during the day and not feeling guilty about it - that’s what’s up! 😁
I usually hit the gym during the day
Wrong question. You should be asking: do you guys work when WFH 🤫
Wfh totally. If I don’t have anything due and the SO wants snuggles she gets snuggles
Yes, absolutely. I also take naps in the office nap room. I’m xAmazon so coming from a world where it’s not taboo to take 20 minutes for yourself in the midst of 12 hours for your client/customer.
Deliver results, OP. And get some rest.
The wellness room....usually code for "legally required private space for breast feeding mothers to pump"
Of course. It’s actually terrible American culture looks down on napping when it clearly boosts productivity
Of course. ~20 minute power naps are pretty common for most remote workers. You probably end up spending that amount of time to get dressed for work, having casual conversations with colleagues in the office, driving to work, etc. anyway, so why the hell not refresh with a nap.
Is this the thread that employers and partners read and reduce flexibility to wfh?
Yea
I was super hungover one Friday when I was wfh and passed out on a conference call I was taking from my couch. I apparently snored for a good 40 minutes in the call. It was not my best day at the Firm.
Cruel - they could have muted you or kicked you off the call
Oh yes. My naps can go from 45 mins to 2 hours depending on the day.
Not a napping person (I find they make me groggy after) but sleeping in a bit fosho.
I take random naps when I WFH. Fridays are a struggle with so much travel happening during the week
While I may nap or do other non-work related activities, I am much more productive at home than on site
Yep
I physically can’t nap 😭
