Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?
Hi, I've recently got selected to IBM GBS, and my husband working for PSU I am from Andhrapradesh and IBM location is Chennai. I've 1year baby. Due to this I can't relocate to Chennai. Is there anyway to handle this like working remotely from my home ? Will IBM allows me to do like that. ? IBM Infosys Tata Consultancy Accenture Amazon

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

This is a moot point in your decision to join IB vs MBB. You should be thinking more about the type of work you want to do in the future.

there are tons of posts about this already
but no from my view IB is becoming less and less popular and more diluted

Could it be that you, as a consultant, know more consultants? And you only know a few bankers bc you’re not a banker?
My recent experience in bschool tells me both are comparable in terms of popularity considering the large proportion of each MBA class recruiting for consulting and banking internships.
Completely depends on what you want to do in your career. Stop chasing just prestige.
I don’t care about prestige, I care about risk adjusted exit oops & always having a good job. My fear is if everyone is a MBB consultant, the cache goes down

my mindset is I see super talented and smart people around me at MBB so I feel motivated and that I’m in the right place.
For context a lot of people in my office recently joined pe buyside and growth equity so definitely the ops are there. I am pre mba fyi
But for post mba I’m pretty sure IB is much more diluted and not worth it compared to pre unless you’re specific path might require it. Honesty pick based on what you wanna do. You wanna do finance pick IB, if you wanna do tech do tech, etc
If you think there are only a few bankers out there, I have news for you…that being said, going into banking post MBA has declined hugely in popularity since the early 2000s, I would only do it if you want to be a career banker
