Is now a good time to be investing in consulting firm stocks like Accenture? Was hoping that with all of the layoffs that the stock price would jump but was hoping to get advice from people in the business or even getting stock or equity. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.
Turns out job wasn’t as advertised. Mutual parting of ways 3/22. Due diligence is critical.
Now interviewing a LOT. Some temp work, I still have “it”. I relate to all gens. Willing to mentor AND learn from all. Tech savvy, CTE from day one. Leads?

Does anyone think it’s weird that my firm is bending over backwards to try to keep a first year staff from leaving the firm after she was rated a 2 this year. But now she’s trying to leave and they keep trying to push her to stay saying she can be a partner in 8-9 years and laying it all out in detail. I was doing my own investment research when I came across multiple financial management websites suggesting really bad mutual funds.

Current FD RD rate is between 5.5% to 6.5% for 12 to 18 months. These websites are suggesting "better alternatives" of mutual funds with return rate of 3-4% for the same duration.

If this is the case of misinformation for these simple investment tools, we can't imagine how much misinformation is there for more complicated options

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful.
