Hi fishes, I attempted an interview for software engineer post at Amdocs. I cleared the first round of interview and later contacted the recruiter for the same. The recruiter replied by saying they will let me know once panel will be available.
It’s been around 2 weeks I haven’t heard from the recruiter.
Can anyone guide me and help me with the same?

Negotiating with EY for M/SM Tech Consulting. I have 15 years experience, skills are in demand and my interviews went extremely well. 1. What are the salary ranges for M and SM in NYC. 2. I am told it is only going to be a M now, for my own benefit-no EY network means failure at selling. Whats the highest salary I can negotiate at M. Any other tips will be handy. I have "sold" (support on sales & new roles through relationships) plus I have solid delivery experience. I really want SM 😀😀😀 EY

Dude you work at McKinsey you should know better. That’s like asking if you should get a university of Phoenix degree after your Harvard PhD
It’s huge for government work because many contracts require a certain list of certs, especially for key personnel. I have PMP because my last company funded it 100%. It was a lousy 3-4 weeks of my life but I got it done and now I have it under my belt
Not always. I’m on some shorter engagements now that are way different from butt-in-seat staff aug roles and they still have certs like PMP required for leads
It’s a good one to have on the resume imo.
I’d say scam too, but for the number of so-called professionals who couldn’t WBS themselves out of a paper bag, I’d say it’s worth showing that you could do something. Just don’t be offended when the PM next to you has far more career success by organizing their talking points than their project plans.
I did cuz its super easy (relative to each person, but in comparison to BAR, CPA, etc) and also noticed it seems to be popping up often recently.
Echo BCG’s post. Nobody cares about PMP or Six Sigma or any of that stuff in strategy circles.
I will also add that it helped me get hired in at AFS at a higher level than I would have without it. I was on the cusp in terms of specifically strategy experience but the PMP pushed me up to consultant rather than senior analyst
Lean six sigma may be better.
Yeah it’s more of a thing in advisory but probably not needed if you have a MBA and in strategy
