Is prime rate a good interest rate? Or can we go lower?

So I think you can go in the 4s if you have great credit but I imagine the prime is safer because it's more of a guarantee. And to me it's negligible to try to get down to the 4s. Vs. being at 7 something.

Yeah, I am hoping that the prime rate comes down in the next 6 months or so. I think the target is around 5.5 which I'd be happy with.

I got a decent deal on a small 1 bed in a luxury building (hell’s kitc). Should I do a 12 month lease or 24m?

Got the rent negotiated to under 3k + free amenities for a year (gym, pool, etc.). I’m afraid rent will atleast go back to the original price (+5%) and then some. The building has some sort of rent control but that’s predicted to go away in less than 1 year as per the lease. The legal rent limit is way higher.

Would love some perspective on renewal experience after 1 year. TIA.

I am a traditional reservist so I never really used military benefits before, but could use advice here.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?

I have a 25K loan from my MBA. I paid off 100k whole, after graduation. 3 years ago, I moved my loan from federal to private ( SOFI) account. I recently lost my job. I have applied for unemployment, as the severance that I received will only cover for 2 months. Together my husband and I used to make less than 250k after tax. Now, with a loss of pay , we are going to make less. Do you think I will be eligible for Loan forgiveness?
