In negotiation for a Manager Role for BNY Mellon (grade K). Looking for some guidance on how hard I can push the issue with increasing my offer.
My convo with the HR recruiter was that he would push for $130k plus a sign on bonus. Offer is coming back at $125k with no bonus. Exiting my current position I'll be leaving a 3% pay increase, $12k bonus payout next month and full remote work on the table. Those considered it would be a lateral financial move for the 2023 year.

Can all technicians share if you're registered or certified and how much you're currently making? (Hospital, retail, independent, etc.) I'm transferring from retail where I'm underpaid to a Hospital trainee position and I don't know the pay range or what I should ask for. I'm registered already and this position requires it within 1yr. But I applied because I don't have Hospital experience. I want my compensation to reflect I'm already registered.

I keep on reading stories about how Goldman Sachs analysts are working 80+ hour workweeks and making six figure salaries but are feeling burned out. I have a solution. Get 2x as many analysts to distribute the workload and cut their $150k salary in half. Seems like an easy fix, but I’m not sure everyone will be happy.

Getting really frustrated with my job. Im by far the busiest associate my year level, and there are 2 people in my group who literally have no work at all. Please help. At my consultation for wisdom teeth removal, they told me I’d only have $408 out of pocket and insurance would cover the rest. I just got a call that the insurance actually doesn’t not cover the removal of two of the teeth (they need to do a partial removal to avoid nerve damage). The staff said she made in error with what was covered when she told me and the actual out of pocket will be $2,009. Does anyone have any advice?
