Do you mean Y&R as in the ad agency or do you mean Y&R PR?

It’s good. I haven’t worked with them in a few years but people generally seem to like it. Good clients. Even though it’s a newer spinoff of Cohn & Wolfe, they have done a good job building up team and client roster and leadership and morale. As an AAE or AE, it’s a good spot to go and learn. No place is perfect but no major red flags for ya

Thanks for your feedback! All of this is very helpful. I’ve heard similar feedback on Y&R!

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

Any fishies out there that can share what level of reporting + KPIs you’re providing leadership?

We’ve historically done mass communication through Outlook, so this will be our first time getting insight into staff e-mail + Teams performance.

I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid. I received an offer and asked about their parental leave. I don't plan on having kids anytime soon but would like to in 3-5 years and hope I can start a long-term career here. Was that a weird question to ask? The company initially responded that they are rewriting it so I didn't get much detail.

I have been interviewing for a job. I think I will get an offer. On paper everything is great. ~30k more than I’m making now, plus larger bonus and more profit sharing. Everyone seemed nice. Hi! I have a very demanding role as a comms director, but still make time to volunteer on the side for some women's organizations I am proud to support. Lately though, the work has been piling up and it's almost as if I have two full-time gigs. I've brought this up as graciously as possible with the orgs, but sometimes I feel I'm being guilted into taking on more work. Best etiquette in this situation? I don't want to leave the roles despite the overwhelm.

I’m mid-career and hoping to make a pivot to internal comms. I’m currently working in-house but the vast majority of my experience is at agency with very little internal comms experience.
