Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

What’s bonus look like for consultants at EYP?
Move dilemma:
Currently @ Arthur D. Little Limited Dubai as SE Manager w/ base comp of 285k $ + 10-15% bonus. Vert limited fit w/ people & projects in the region (MEI) & not motivated by seniors. Not happy w/ the job but good WLB. Very likely to promote to Pr which would include a 20-30% jump in total comp but shift to more variable
Move to MBB as PL. Projects & people are supposed to be great and he could see himself in the long run. Comp is 170k $ + 60% bonus. Will take 1.5y to move to Pr

Honestly, you're likely paid where you should be - no one is going to renegotiate. You're making more than I was as a SM before I was promoted, if that's any consolation. Welcome to the firm.

Yeah I agree with SP1 in this economy that’s fat.
Why do you think you are underpaid? Usually only effective way to get an off-cycle increase is to have another offer in hand - but after only 3 weeks, that’s likely not the smartest move.
What SM level are you? That’s a perfectly aceptable salary for the vast majority of BUs unless you’re maybe in NYC.
I thought $230k is sort of upper limit for SM in whichever angle you see
What differentiated value are you adding or what new revenue did you drive to the firm to build a business case for a higher salary?

Don’t listen to your colleague ! That is really good at EY as a SM. A lot of MDs make barely more than that!
Where do you think your base should be at Op?
Work damm hard - try to get good high value clients that can show your revenue billables and try to negotiate in the next cycle. However be ready to be disappointed as the increase would be minimum. But can make atleast 5-8% in bonus that should bring your TC : 250K

No, outside hires might just go into the top band if they have specialized skills.
These guys don’t even know your background or practice and claim that 230k for SM is fair enough lol
EY7, what region and service line are you in because I would like to switch. I’ve been a SM 5 years and I’m not even at 200k yet.
