Any Solar Energy job seekers here?
Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations
Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?
Can anyone share their experience with an ESOP?

Always PTO. I got 7 extra days when I negotiated for this job. Allowed me to spend two weeks visiting family in Australia and still take time off around the holidays. I always push for it.
Love this! Thank you
You have to be in a spot where they really want you. Their saying that salary is non-negotiable doesn’t always mean they will do anything else. Worth a try, PTO, flexible work, figure out what would make up the money for you.
Very true. Appreciate this!
Hybrid work schedule. A lot of companies do unlimited vacation so it doesn’t matter - but being able to work remote one week per month is more impactful for me
Love this point! Less commuting is huge.
