So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?
Anyone got recruited for Pune location recently? My interview process has been completed and asked for documents on 23rd Dec, but till now I haven’t got any update after that. Today i called HR and they said manager has not provided any update on my application. Should i wait for the offer letter or look opportunity in another organisation? Deloitte Deloitte India

“Why is this taking 8 weeks?"
I'd ask questions about how they like to work, so you know whether you'll work well together. For example:
- How do you like to roll? Work side by side to develop ideas together? Spend time apart developing work and then come together to bounce off each other?
- What did you like / not like about the working style you had with your last partner?
- What are you already awesome at, and what skills/areas are you hoping to develop further?
- What are your current pain points and what role can I play in alleviating some of them?
- Any particular go-to stimulus for inspiration? e.g. what do you read / watch / follow / make?
- What can I tell you about me that will help you understand my work, ethics, approach etc?

Make sure he/she’s seen your work before the call and vice versa.
Look at the AD’s book and ID campaigns that you like. Then ask him/her to talk you through the work.
Ask your partner how they like to approach concepting. Definitely good to know what their style is and if it’s gonna be a fit.
Ask what current ads they really like.
It’s really just about gauging whether or not you guys will work well together, and that’s what they’ll be reporting to their boss. Good luck!
Thanks everyone. Especially you CW2! These are super helpful tips
