Why don’t you use this time to learn how to cook? There are very simple recipes that you can start with.
“Use the time”?? What time would that be? Between work, home school and no housekeeper I have less time than I did before 😡. I’m so tired of hearing about all the great activities you can do from home because I have no time for any of it.
Instant ramen noodles cooked:
1) then drained and sautéed with frozen veggies and egg(s), soy sauce, peanut butter, ginger, and garlic
2) Cooked in chicken broth with defrosted veggies and eggs (crack in raw, let boil with noodles)
2a) Western European style: season with salt, pepper and any combo of the following: thyme, basil, sage, rosemary, garlic, onion
2b) Asian (ish) style: pepper, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, onion
2c) Tex-Mex (ish) style: salt, pepper, garlic, onion, lemon or lime juice, Chile or chipotle powder. Add in a few spoons of salsa or pico de Gallo if you feel like it
2d) Cuban style (kinda...don’t tell my Tía): garlic, onion, olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, and bay leaves

Dm me if you want some good instant pot recipes or crockpot
Get the Food Network app. When you search for a recipe, put the word “easy” in front of it. You’ll be cooking in no time. I’m assuming you live alone? If so, you get two meals with every recipe. And if you can afford it, the Ninja grill and air fryer is the best kitchen appliance I ever bought. It is easy to use and cleans up quick. I hardly use the stove any more.
Cmon man you can even cook something as simple as chicken and pasta
Buy some vegetables (onions, bell peppers, brocolli, sweet potatoes), cut them up. Put them on a cookie sheet. I like to cover it with foil so there’s not a mess at the end. Cover the vegetables with SOME oil. Not too much. Sprinkle on some lemon pepper, barbeque spice, whatever floats your boat. Bake at 375 for 18 or so minutes.
Useful stuff from Pinterest. Spices and spice blends are your key foundation. They elevate your basics and make them non-repetitive. Try adding to frozen brown rice, frozen veggies, and eggs:
