Jobless for about a year. I'm considering my options at this point and need advice. I am a professional in unsecured credit and the roles I've been applying for say I'm too junior since I have about 2 years of relevant "finance" experience. Should I go back to school or continue to put my energy into finding a job? Should I take side certifications? It would be helpful if anyone could provide insight on the best course of action and get back into the industry.

Does anyone work at a firm where legal assistants don't do legal assistant things? For example, I have to do my scheduling and calendaring. I have to upload documents to our file management system. Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research.
